PEEKSKILL, NEW YORK – Sun River Health, a health care provider with sites throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island, will host a free health fair on September 21 at Christ Community Church in Peekskill. A talk will be given by guest speaker Althea Phillips, DNP. Light refreshments will be served.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Sun River Health services, including:
- Health screenings
- Appointment-scheduling
- Linkages to care
- Mental health substance use disorder resources
- Medicare and health insurance enrollment
- Department of Social Services resources
- Linkages to immigration and legal services
- SNAP text program and nutrition information
- Additional community resources
This health fair is open to everyone in the community and will be held on September 21 from 12pm until 3pm at Christ Community Church, located at 1607 Main Street in Peekskill.
