SOUTHAMPTON, NEW YORK – Carlos Ortiz, Sun River Health Deputy Chief Operating Officer, was among the recipients of a Dan’s Out East Impact Award for those who impact, influence, and support the LGBTQ+ community across the Hamptons and the North Fork of Long Island. Mr. Ortiz and the other winners received their awards during a celebration at Blu Mar Hamptons in Southampton on Sunday, August 20.
Sponsored by Dan’s Papers and Schneps Media, the afternoon was one of celebration, dancing, food, and drink that brought together the East End LGBTQ+ community to connect, support one another, and do business. Funds raised at the event’s silent and live raffles went to benefit Sun River Health, the Edie Windsor Healthcare Center, and Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
