Optometry / eye care
Taking good care of your eyes is an important part of your overall health. At Sun River Health, our eye care specialists (optometrists) are here to make sure all our patients can get regular vision check-ups and help with any eye problem they may have, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
Having your vision checked on a regular basis helps keep your eyes in the best health.
At Sun River Health, our optometrists provide standard vision screenings and check-ups for patients of all ages. They will be able to help determine if you or your child need glasses or contacts, and make sure your eyes are healthy. If you’re experiencing blurry vision, they can also help determine if it is a symptom of a more serious health issue.
Even if you are not experiencing vision problems, if you are over 65 years old, or if you wear eyeglasses or contact lenses, then an annual visit with an optometrist is a good idea.
In addition to providing vision screenings and prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses, our optometrists can also provide care for:
- Lazy eye
- Astigmatism
- Cataracts
- Conjunctivitis
- Detached retina
- Dry eye
- Near- and far-sightedness
- Glaucoma
- Low vision
- Macular degeneration
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Retinoblastoma
If optometry is not provided at your closest Sun River Health location, we can refer you to a trusted optometrist in your community.
