Women’s health / OB-GYN
Sun River Health is here to meet the health care needs of all women at any age – lesbian, bisexual, transgender, gender-non-conforming, queer, or straight – regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Our compassionate team of OB-GYN and family physicians, midwives, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, and behavioral health specialists will work with you to make sure you get the complete care you need, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
Our services vary by health center, but our team can refer you to another one of our locations within our network of care if a service or clinician you need or prefer isn’t available at your closest health center.
Annual health / well woman exams are the first step to staying in the best health. An annual exam gives you the chance to ask your doctor about any health concerns you may have. For women and people assigned as female at birth of all ages, your annual exam may include a chest / breast exam, pelvic exam, Pap smear, and other routine health screenings.
Making sure you have your annual exam may help prevent certain kinds of cancer and detect other medical problems. Depending on your age and health history, your doctor will know what kind of screenings you need.
Our sexual and reproductive health care includes information on birth control and safe sex, sexually transmitted infection (STI) screenings (including HIV tests), and Pap and HPV tests. Screenings for STIs can be done by taking a blood, urine, or fluid sample. Our care team is here to provide the right services and screenings for you.
Different kinds of birth control methods and information we have available include:
