Vasanthi Arumugam, MD is an infectious disease physician at Sun River Health. A graduate of Thanjavur Medical College in Thanjavur, India, she went on to complete an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in New York City. She then completed a three-year infectious disease residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens. Prior to joining Sun River Health, she served patients at NYC Health & Hospitals in Elmhurst. Dr. Arumugam is licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
