Vanessa Lafortune-Remedor, CM is a certified midwife at Sun River Health. She received her master of science degree in midwifery from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center School of Health Professions in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to joining Sun River Health, she served patients at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers and Maimonides Medical Center and Park Slope Midwives in Brooklyn. Ms. Lafortune-Remedor is licensed to practice as a certified midwife in the State of New York and is certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board.
