Than Than, MD

Family Medicine

Than Than, MD is a family medicine physician at Sun River Health. She graduated from the Institute of Medicine 1 in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma), where she also completed an internship. She completed her residency in family medicine at the Mid-Hudson Family Practice in Kingston, New York. Dr. Than is licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

One meaningful story from my time here at Sun River Health involves a patient with breast cancer who didn’t have health insurance. We performed a screening, which showed the cancer, and referred her to a cancer care program. She was able to get Medicaid and received the best care. At Sun River Health, we take care of everyone, and give them the assistance they need.”
