Rajiv Chander, MD is a physician at Sun River Health. A graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he went on to receive his MD from the Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados. He completed residencies in general surgery at Our Lady of Mercy New / York Medical College and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx and a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Prior to joining Sun River Health, he served patients at the James J. Peters Veterans Administration Medical Center in the Bronx. Dr. Chander is licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York and is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
