Lakaya Bates, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Lakaya Bates, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor at Sun River Health. She is a graduate of Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Prior to joining Sun River Health, she worked at St. Dominic’s Family Services and GEEL Community Services, Inc. in the Bronx and North American Family Institute in Elmsford. Ms. Bates is licensed to practice as licensed mental health counselor in the State of New York.
 
Sun River Health behavioral / mental health specialists, including licensed social workers, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and primary care providers, work with our patients to make sure that every part of their health is taken care of. Our care team gets to know our patients’ individual health needs, learn about their health history, keeps track of any medications they are taking, and works with them to create a personal care plan.
