Carmen Chinea, MD is an internist and nephrologist at Sun River Health. A graduate of the Universidad Central del Este in San Pedro de Macon, Dominican Republic, she went on to complete her internship in internal medicine and residencies in internal medicine and nephrology at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. She later received a master’s in public health from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City. She previously served Sun River Health as the Chief of Clinical Strategy and Development and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Chinea is licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
