This August, Sun River Health will be adding three new sites to our New York City region, pending final regulatory approval. The sites will transition from the All Med Medical group into Sun River Health’s community health center network, raising our total site count to 46, including Mobile Health. The addition of these sites in Queens and the Bronx will give our NYC region the capacity to serve 7,000 additional patients.
All Med brings a similar mission and purpose to their work in providing health care to all, regardless of insurance, income, or citizenship status. The staff, over 99% of whom are staying on with us, and leadership at All Med share a “we can do it” attitude that is very familiar to us at Sun River Health. And we have seen firsthand how much All Med patients value and rely on their providers for the care they need and the respect they deserve. Because of this, we know that All Med patients and staff will feel at home as part of the Sun River Health family.
All Med also brings the benefit of services we do not currently offer, including physical therapy, cardiology, and vascular medicine. These additional services provide opportunities for our existing patients network-wide to receive even more comprehensive care as well as learning opportunities for our organization as we seek to incorporate All Med’s best practices into our wider network.
