She comes to Sun River Health from the OB-GYN Department of New York Presbyterian Hospital and Hamptons Gynecology and Obstetrics in Southampton. She received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from California College of the Arts in Oakland before graduating from the Physician Assistant Program at Cornell University Medical College. Ms. Josephs is licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York and is certified with the NCCPA.
“I started my medical career over 30 years ago in emergency medicine as an EMT, and then a paramedic with the 911 EMS in Manhattan. I enjoyed this work and helping people in times of need. This inspired me to further my studies and become a physician assistant. In my spare time, I love to knit, and try to do it every day! It satisfies my need for a creative, artistic outlet. I also love both Zumba and Pilates for exercise.”
Sun River Health women’s health clinicians, including OB-GYNs, midwives, family physicians, nutritionists, and specialists in behavioral health, help women stay healthy through every stage of their lives. Our care team gets to know our patients’ individual health needs, learn about their health history, keeps track of any medications they are taking, and works with them to create a personal care plan.
