Pediatrician

Stella Pohanis, MD is a pediatrician at Sun River Health. She received her MD from the Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic before completing an internship and residency in pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in New York. She comes to Sun River Health after serving as Medical Director for the Suffolk County Department of Health at the Riverhead Health Center. Dr. Pohanis is licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York and is board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics.
